ORGANISATION

Trinity Pre-school is a non profit organisation with charitable status. It is managed by a Committee elected annually by the parents at the AGM held in October. The committee consists of a Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, parent representatives and fundraising representatives.

The Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer are all members of Holy Trinity Church or, where this is not possible, are members of another Christian church. The Pre-school staff are employed by the committee on behalf of Trinity Pre-school

Part of the role of the committee is to review and update all the policies used at Pre-school. Copies of all the policies are kept in a file which can be easily accessed by all.

STAFFING

Most of our staff have or are working towards a level 3 qualification in Early Years and Childcare. All staff regularly attend training courses as part of their ongoing professional development and complete a first-aid course within the first six months of employment.

All staff undergo Criminal Records Bureau checks on appointment.

Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) will be happy to discuss any concerns you may have about your child and liases regularly with other childcare professionals.

COMMUNICATION

Each term a newsletter is sent out (downloadable here) to keep parents informed of activities that are taking place during the period. Letters are sent out regularly and we encourage an open communication process between staff and parents. Staff are always at hand to answer any questions you may have about your child or the Pre-school and we aim to be a support wherever possible.
