AT TRINITY PRE-SCHOOL WE FOLLOW THE ’EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE’ GUIDELINES
A Unique Child - every child is a competent learner from birth who can be resilient, capable, confident and self assured
Positive Relationships - children learn to be strong and independent from a base of loving and secure relationships with parents and/or a keyperson
Enabling Environments - the environment plays a key role in supporting and extending children’s learning and development
Learning and Development - children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates. All areas of learning and development are equally important and interconnected
Each child is allocated a keyperson to take particular interest in them and be a point of contact for you to discuss your child’s individual needs and learning.
The keyperson will record your child’s progress in a learning diary which will be shared with you regularly. Input from you and your child is essential to make sure we keep up to date with their current interests and needs.
Pre-school is inspected every few years by Ofsted and the findings from our latest inspection can be viewed here.
